After just qualifying for ESL One Katowice the next Counter Strike major, Kabum has released it’s CS:GO roster

The Kabum eSports organisation has just announced that it has released its Counter Strike division, just weeks after successfully managing to qualify for ESL One Katowice, the next $250,000 major tournament.

This comes as a shock to the Counter Strike community, but it was noticed that times were tough within the organisation after struggling to cover the costs to attend the most recent ESL One Katowice offline qualifier.

It seems the main reason behind the split of the players and the Kabum eSports organisation is down to funding, and complications within the contract between Kabum eSports and Target Down (Kabum.TD).

Today, 23/02, after consultation with Fallen, we were told that the contract will not be renewed and the players are already in negotiation with another organization.

No information has been released yet about where the ex-Kabum roster is going, however the press release (located below) does note that the Counter Strike division is already in talks with another organisation, but eSports Focus will be updated when information is revealed on this matter.
