The Gfinity Call of Duty Open event this weekend saw 29 teams compete for a share of £10,000, sponsored by The Sun. Teams competed in group stages on Saturday, before the 16 top teams headed to the Gfinity arena to battle out in a double elimination bracket.

The event homed some of the most talented teams in Europe including Epslion, Infused and Aware as well as HyperGames who traveled from France.

As most predicted the final consisted of 2 of Europes finest, Epslion and Aware. Epsilon managed to come out on top winning the series 3 – 2 and being crowned the Gfinity CoD Open champions, taking away £5000.

Final placements:
1st place: Epsilon eSport (Tommey, Josh, Madcat, Swanny) – £5000
2nd place: Aware Gaming (Peatie, Joee, JTee, Watson) – £2500
3rd place: Exertus eSport (Rated, MeLon, Qwicker, Lewis) – £1500
4th place: HyperGames (Maxxie, Riskin, TonyJaa, Veziok) – £500
5th-6th place: Infused (Dominate, MarkyB, Jake, Reedy) – £250
5th-6th place: Epiphany (Hex, Curious, SunnyB, Agon) – £250
7th-8th place: Ambition (McGee, Sowerz, Savage, vapeZ)
7th-8th place: Barrage (Realize, Tankaziny, Mouvaa, Bissaroo)
